Been making deliverys too Van Nuys. Im slowly growing immune too the traffic.

 

Back at jurupa terminal.
Got everyrhi g that needed to be done do e the last 2 days. Mouth abitt sore since my dentist visit today. Tooth had to be pulled. So instead of a crown I am getting another bridge. Have to go.back in 3 months to get permanent bridge put in. He says the bone will take 3 months to fully heal. I will have to goback next year for the rest of teeth since I used up all my yearly i.surance credit.
Passed my d.o.t. physical so good for another year lol

 

Pick up a load out of here going for a 0500 appt in Carson ca.
Then pick up in Ontario ca anytime tomorrow that goes to sante fe nm for a 6/14 0600 appt. Hotter than $%&# here lol

 

At a hotel in Lodi, CA, across the street from the J & the Love's. When I saw it was gonna be 103 I reserved a room rather than idle my truck for 15+ hours
I got a call from the Target DC in Woodland, CA asking me if I'd help out. I politely said NO!

 

Be careful ... Those are known to be "working" hotels.

Got a call on home time, which I shouldnt have answered anyways with someone from my terminal. Telling me about my idling. Never got complaints in the past for it. Irritated me quite a bit. I don't like idling either, but if it's hot, it's hot.

 

They've got a real hard on for idling right now. Your DM probably doesn't care as long as you're a productive driver that puts in decent mileage. Our DMs in Richmond are actually required to talk to us about it, so that's probably why you were called.

 

Figured, still kind of bugged me. I try my best but I ain't gonna die in the truck haha.

 

DP, Have you asked about the implant? My goal is to get to my Dr's specs so he'll do the tests so I can skip the machine and get an implant ok its another surgery... but to get off the machine would be glorious.
