I40 ex9 in as at the pilot. The delivery this morning went really quick since it was a trailerful of insulation and floorstacked
Did my empty call and my qc went screwy lol.
Was able to send but not received.
So stopped at jurupa terminal to have shop replace the black box. Stuck there for about 3 hrs.
Then.picked this load up in Ontario that goes to sante fe nm.
Truck thermometer says it's 116 here when I got here at 1630.

 

Changing the QC unit will not always fix all the problems. You may be trading one problem for another.
Those things are just recycled, and not always/usually fixed before going into another truck.
And there are many different reasons QC might fritz out. There might be nothing really wrong with it aside from some stray EM emissions in the area.


And you can bet it is not 116 degrees there. What does your phone app show as the temp?
My truck usually shows around 10 degrees hotter than the actual temp, often times more.
It can be nice when it is warm, to be able to idle. But it sucks when it is around 20-25 degrees.

 

The radio forecasted 110-116 degrees here in lake havesu. Suppose to be 105 today.

Just got done with a 5 hour unload at Food Lion in Disputanta, VA. There is a fairly new Love's less than a mile away that not many people know about. I didn't get here until 0025 but there are plenty of spots still available.
It used to be the C-Store and most GPS's haven't updated to show it as a Love's. My RM didn't either.

 

Spent the night at the yard in Albuquerque. Finally got rid of my apartment. Feels good to have one less bill. Nice that there is storage across the street so I leave my car there. On my way to Dodge City to bring back a load to Albuquerque. Not uncommon to drive 300+ miles empty in reefer makes short loads long.

 

Yep. Nice Loves in a great spot. Hate that Food Lion DC though. Guess you're probably headed to Suffolk to Cal Cartage or Williamsburg to Walmart next.

I pick up a t-called load from Richmond terminal early tomorrow morning, going to the Walmart in Chambersburg, PA.
Then it is a Church and Dwight load picking up in York, PA headed to MO.

 

Sitting at loves in Dodge City. Pick up tomorrow evening to run all night back to Albuquerque. Hope this load is ready to go early.
