Good Night From II

I delivered a load to Walmart in N. Platte this morning. Nice and easy, and the first empty I looked at was spotless clean inside.
That was nice, since my next load picks up in Golden, CO with a load of cans.
I'm headed to Milwaukee, WI for a Monday delivery at noon.
My home time date is set for Tuesday, so it should be easy to get home on time from there.

 

We passed each other going in opposite directions today ...

Picked this load up in umatilla or around noon.
Drove here to get fuel and dinner.
Have a 10pm appt tonite that's a live unload. So hoping they get me unloaded by midnite. Albertson dc in Gresham or
Preplan says it's in Portland lol.
Left real early since I don't want to be bothered with any overnite loads.
Gonna line 5 down to Troutdale terminal since truckstops will be packed by then. My 14 will expire at 0100

Got to Albertsons dc around 9 pm.
Got into a door right at my appt time of 10pm.
Sat for 1hr40 when jumpers called and had me move to another door. Started goading me 10 no ites later. Got out of there at 2am this morning.
Ran over here for my 10 .
No load offerings yet and half the day is already gone lol

Woke up to 2 preplan. 1st one was removed b4 I looked at it. 2nd one was picking up in Toledo or going to San Diego ca.
Last time I went empty to Toledo they threw a little fit. Says they want us to bring a loaded trailer.
The 1st lreplan was a load going there but planner said computer kept kicking it out for some reason.
So he gave me a load that picks up tomorrow morning in Clackamas or going to Toledo or.

 

Came over hete to the t/A since more food options. Had chi ese food delivered last nite. Was good but A bit pricey.
Got a much needed haircut. Came back to truck . Had to.make my own spot on the end since only reserve parking open.
Guy next to.me had locked his.keys in.
So.i googled how to get in a d watched a bit on YouTube.
I got it.opened in less than a minute using my key. His was a cascade too.
Saved him a couple hundred

Stopped here for the nite since I didn't get much sleep last nite.
Have all day Wednesday to make the delivery in San Diego. Want to get it in early so I can get some more miles this week.
This cascadia is a dog going up hillss with a heavy load.

I kept getting crap pplans until I called my DM, and he got me a Costco load out of here for my home time load.
Then it rescheduled to pick up tomorrow instead of today, with the same delivery time on Wednesday at 0700. There was nothing better so I kept the load with the understanding that the load would be a priority tomorrow to get it done in the morning.
Later today the delivery was changed to 1400, so all is good.
Since it picked up a day later my DM gave me layover pay for today. I told him it was not necessary because it was delivering on the same day and got me home when I needed, but he insisted. OK, I'll stop arguing.

Jurupa terminal.
Delivered that load to San Diego. Drove to otay mesa terminal for an empty.
Picked up in carson and goes to chew me at anytime Friday.
Alot of traffic today. So came here with 35 minutes left on 11.
