Memphis Terminal again tonight.
After I delivered my load to Mississippi this morning, I got a call from my DM.
He said my truck is due to be traded in(it's an 07 Volvo 780)
He also suggested that since I got Platinum status after only 90 days of employment with Swift and have been running good miles, that I should consider going O/O.
I've been planning on doing it as soon as they would let me anyway.
So I went to see Rosa and long story short.... I'm sitting in a brand new Blue Volvo 780 that doesn't say "SWIFT" all across the side now lol

 

Sitting at the Walmart dc in Casa grande, AZ. Too hot for me down here.

No Gary area wasn't too bad but Indianapolis was insanity after I posted that message. It was completely black in the middle of the day with just water everywhere. Hail that sounded like someone was hitting the truck with rocks fired from slingshots. Then myself and the whole rest area got woken up around midnight local time to alll of our trucks shaking violently. Not gonna lie, I was freaked out.

Now I'm in spartanburg SC getting slammed with rain again.
