Good night from...

still in laredo. delivered my load this morning, came back to terminal about an hour later pre-plan local run. went to go to this dispatch window to pick up paperwork and guy there said i was his hero for the day. made me feel special that knowing i was someones hero

 

Currently I'm wandering around in the hills of New Mexico. Supposedly I'm headed to CO but who knows where I'll actually wind up? At least I've got a trailer full of groceries and won't starve.

 

Monroe,MI at the Pilot. Trying to take a nap but not much luck, need to pick up in Flint # 2am then off to Memphis. Can't del til Tuesday at 6 am so kinda sucks but they are closed Monday, already called. Crossing my fingers that they can get me some major miles between Tue and Thur since Thursday I'm supposed to be home and it will be a sad check otherwise. I wouldn't mind not making it home til Fri morning if it meant some extra miles.

 

Find out if you can swap local-for-local since there's so much time on that.

 

I messaged my home terminal but no reply yet about tcalling it. My DM who has been great so far is out of town until next week so I really don't know if the other DM;s there really care or not. Should just ask at the window at Memphis when I get there you think? When I was there with my mentor they didn't seem like the most friendly terminal out there but guess it can't hurt to try.
