Small fuel stop in Bloomfield, NM. Shut down early. Been feeling lousy for 3 days now, and no sleep. Too tired to go farther today. Injun, chili excellent, and definately did donate for the cause today. One thing that I am noticing and can not figure out, seeing lots of trucks running with two small flags on top of the cab. Red and green or Red and orange. Mostly construction and oil field trucks

 

Yeah,all tuckered out too(must be going around,too tired syndrome) have to get a steer tire replaced,apparantly to out of round to balance properly,goodyear told me michelin will replace it for me,im sure at prorated rate.

TA in Antioch,TN. Need to have trailer light fixed but was 3 hour wait to get into shop and I had 1 hour left on my 14. Chose to park in one of the few remaining spots and have them fix it at 3am before I leave. On my way home with 8 of the biggest #### rolls of paper i have seen, almost as tall as the trailer and 8 of them weigh 44k.

 

Yeah you wouldn't think it but that is a busy truck stop

 

Petro got far enough to know the compressor is good. They direct jumped 12v to it and it fired right up ... they just didn't have the expertise to find out why it wasn't coming on when it was supposed to.

Thanks for the info on the recalls. I'll check, though they may not apply as I have a 2009.

At a motel in Greenwood, IN ... dropped and looking for a load to get me going west.

 

picked up a repower in Lancaster and high tailed it to San Antonio to finish day.
