Home sweet home until 10AM tomorrow then it's off to Phoenix. Ran out of hours so truck is still backed up to dock at Sears at the mall.

Oh well plenty of security running around there.14 up due to them taking three hours to UN load me.

 

Watkins, CO. Stopped in the Denver terminal, long enough to fuel. At a savings of 0.21/gal, thought that it was worth it. Total screwed up day. MMy one pu, refused the trailer, after sitting there 2.5 hours. They found a couple of small, and I mean small glass shards, and this was after swept out and blown out, so cleaned again, and still the customer,Gilster Mary Lee, refused. Ran mt from Rifle to Golden. Now a nice 7K load to VA

 

Sitting in the loading dock of Sterilite in Ennis TX. We've been sitting in this dock for five hours waiting to be loaded. I'm not all that happy with these people.

 

Don't blame you! I get upset when I sit more than 30 minutes........Throw them a nice cold soda and a crisp clean $20 and watch that trailer rock and roll.

 

No, they're proving a point. The trip info was wrong according to them. We got a pre plan and trip info today with a pick up window from 08:00 to 20:00. We accepted it, dropped the load we repowered for Memphis last night and came over to get this. We got here at 15:00. Got put in a dock at 16:00 The shipper says we're late and we have to be the LAST tailer loaded. *extensive eye rolling*

 

i know how you feel, i carried a load last month to atlanta the load information said i could deliver anytime between 800 and 1600. i got there at 1200. the receiver ask me what my appointment time was, i said um today between 8 and 3. and the fit hit the shan. he told me i should know better to show up without a appointment time. and i told him what my load info said, he wouldnt have nothing of it, so i told him to call swift and he said he didnt have time to. i sat there for 5 hours before he unloaded me. i had five hours to think what i thought of him and after he signed my paperwork i told him. so now he finds time to call swift and lets just say im no longer welcome on their property.
