Here in Hayward, CA. Sent me from Santa Rosa, CA to pu mt here. Sent the pplan, and had to decline. PU tonight but del 1200 miles by 7/29 at 0630. Target but it had a drop appt. Now get to wait until morning. Darn, these new Mac' s r a pain. Decline and it asks for you to pick a reason, There are no reasons on the new Mac, and now along with Mac 10, also Mac 34. This is going to start to get confusing and I can just see the confusion comming up.

 

Nothing confusing about Macro 9. Can you pick up the load? If you can't because of travel time or HOS, when can you be there? And when can you make your consignee? If there's some other reason you can't or don't want to pick it up, then why?

Macro 10 is back to what it was supposed to be: a report of hours worked.

Macro 34...well, I don't know what the purpose for it is. It's already covered in your loaded call, Macro 2. Macro 22 still covers delays.

I wish there was a macro to send that resets hours for a completed 34. Prime had one that basically said "Completed a 34, please update hours available to 70." Or some such.

 

New Braunfels Tx. Wanted to make San Antonio at least, but traffic through Austin was as bad as I have ever seen it. Took 40 minutes driving in the shade on the lower deck!

 

Austin is usually always like this. I have lived there since the early 70's and the traffic on I35 is usually always a mess towards downtown. Wish I was there right now. But as you know I will probably end up in New York by the end of the week!

I wanna go back out west I miss Oregon,Washington and California where the miles where good and the DOT men and women are so very nice! I miss them!Oh #### just accidentally took a swig of my pee bottle thought it was my coke. ######!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm totally going to do that one day too, but a coke bottle? That's some good aim you got.

 

I became a master at using 20OZ coke bottles as I had no choice when I was with my crazy mentor. Tonight I made a huge mistake!!!!! I throw them away after use but this one I sat in the wrong spot as my phone rang.

Needless to say I won't be doing that again. I have always admired the survivor man for being brave and drinking his own pee but never will I ever make that mistake again...................
