I'm there as well. have not tried the little Cafe yet spent the day with student teaching him to back way in the back parking. Went to Walmart today to show student how to shop for food for the truck and found myself teaching him how to drive the shopping cart.
Thought that was kinda funny...

Did you get the cart with the fked up wheel?
-
No. Blue wouldn't take a defective cart. He'd make sure a thorough PTI was done on the cart before moving it from the foyer area.
-
That's pretty dam funny. I laughed out loud on that one. Thanks.

Vinton, LA, del morning, and a great pplan. Laredo for Thursday evening, Friday morning. Talked to my DM this afternoon, and was told that the long loads are going to the Mentors and Teams. Was told again, if I want to see long hauls, consider becomming a Mentor. Second time that I was told this. Was also told that if want to see decent loads, stay out of TX. My reply, is that not your job. Watch over my truck and make sure that I am making it.

Beaumont, TX. Actually got me a long haul, from MAC 30. Heading to NC for Monday. Also finally learned how Mac 30 works. If you accept an offer and you do not receive any msg back, then you have actually accepted a pplan (oops, told today that they are now being called load assignment. I thought that this was the dispatch), and if that load is not available, then you will receive a message. Learn something new all the time. Also did not know that you have to go through trailer inspection in Laredo for any drop trailer, at a forwarding location, for load going onto Mexico. I knew about if dropping at terminal.
scottied67 Thanks this.
