Just got a pp to deadhead 585mi to edwardsville, ks terminal. Said to take my mty there.
New record for me, longest deadhead yet.

 

London, Oh, TA, I-70 x79. I'm 29 miles from my delivery at 1300 tomorrow. Strange winter, no snow on the ground all the way here from Texas. Not complaining.

Swift uses the term JIT for any load where the customer is going to get really butt hurt if it is late .. not really JIT in the way the term applies to manufacturing processes.

Sparks, as mentioned is small. But, there is generally plenty of parking, especially on the lower level.

Sitting the weekend in Terrell TX. Preplan had delivery Sat at 930 but by the time I picked up in Michigan they switched it to Monday... Hopefully not a common occurence. One good thing had some relatives drive over 80 miles and did some chasing around and visiting

 

At Gretna, NE on 10 hour break. Load delivers in Denver Monday morning at 09:30

JIT load turned into a live load... At a sports arena where there are many monster trucks. Trl is parked on the street which will need cleared hence why it is JIT... Won't be hauling a truck but other things related to tonight's events

 

Edwardsville, kS terminal.
Fought winds all night along the 70, which sucked being empty. This place is packed, too. I guess there are loads going out of here more so than denver, followed 2 swift drivers 300mi out here.
