Back in Edwardsville. Arrived and found out my next pplan cancelled, Nice to have been notified. Was hooked up to another one right way. Sitting on the yard, going to Menasha, WI. There was a nice one for NJ, but no way I was going to make 1100 miles by Wed. a.m.

Abingdon, VA. Just finished 8 hour live unload at Food City DC. They burned up what was left of my 14 plus the 2 hours I added with the 16 hour exception. Had to do some creative elog editing to turn 8 off duty to 8 sleeper to make it a split so I could drive 8 miles to the Petro and shut down for 10 reset.

Pick up in Greeneville, TN tomorrow going to New Joisey. That will make 2500 miles for the week.

What creative editing? Where else are you going to be when loading/unloading other than the sleeper?

In KY, sitting on dock, in the sleeper ... for over 4 hours now, plate hasn't even dropped yet.

    Aurora, IL @ KRAFT Foods.
load was saposed to be a p/u but turned into a live load. Been here 3hrs now and still sitting on a green light. When I checked in and was told live load, kid said you can park here tonight if you need to. Guess that shoulda been my clue I was going to be waiting here all night.

So here I sit, playing Call of Duty, could be worse. Bright side, my head shot kill ratio is going up. Ohh here comes a swifty, let's watch him hook n go... grumble grumble..

You need to learn how to install and use them chains before you leave Sparks. I prefer not to drive with chains on but it was very very useful chainin up just to back into the dock two days ago doing a local run down there... You never know when you'll need them.

    Zukimart Thanks this.

I agree 10000% that and they need to be hanging if you roll thru colorado, if not yer looking to get pulled over and asked to show enough chains to run that state.
welcome to the solo world driver !

Can also tell yer dm you need to buy some, lol, that should be fun to try and get put on yer comdata.
once you get your chains, go out and pop a few on yer tires, practice in dry warmer weather, rather than -10* weather on the side of the road w/ trucks blasting by you getting you wet..
