A bit west of Jacksonville, FL at TA, I-10, x343. Droppped load at Walmart DC at 1:30 and supposed to have a pplan I could pick up and get a few hundred on today. Pplan here to Ohio was pulled as I was accepting it and here I sit. Really nice balmy, breezy 85 degrees though.
Good night from...

My sympathies ... nothing against Jacksonville, but the only thing I can say about that T/A is that it's not Montgomery.
At home, about to pop a Newcastle.A21CAV Thanks this. -
Home sweet Home. Have 3 days to start to make this home a bachelor pad to a womans pad. Clean it up and organize before the wife arrives the first of April. Will have two days at the end of the month to finish. Found out today that I will be getting 15 hours detention for the mess yesterday. Have to admit, the load that I had today, 45,700, and still only 79,200, and that with 3/4 fuel

Columbia, SC behind a Valero in a dirt lot decorated w pond size potholes. Pick up 3 miles away 8am headed for Virginia Beach, VA tomorrow evening. These shorty 400 to 500 mile east coast runs that pick up early, deliver evening require careful truck stop planning; 14 gets thin quick.

Gary terminal. Had to visit, never been here before. Ok I lied, I needed def fuel and got lazy. Deliver in am 45 mi away then its off to michigan, little 350mi run. Ill do that delivery a day early, already called them and asked if ok, consignee said go for it. Then off to snag a load 11mi away and head down to South Carolina, by the 9th, which will put me just at 2000mi for the week, not bad..
Lot of pist of l/o here. Guess one quit swift, yes I got that ear full as soon as I walked up to the smoking area, oi'vey. Another guy I felt sorry for, been here since friday, waiting on a part and the mechanic broke something else while trying to install the new part. Yikes.
Windy as hell here tonight. Feels like im going to tip over. Hmmm, tipped over from wind in a swift yard, yea im sure to get a preventable on this one, lol -
Sunny Salt Lake City, UT.
Well, not so sunny for the next couple days.
Snow storm moved in just as I was coming in and is expected to last until Wednesday night, dropping up to 10 inches of pretty white stuff.
I have 7.5 hours left on my 70 with no hours rolling in for the next 2 days, so I figure I may as well start a 34 right now and come back Thursday morning with the sunshine.
I hate being stuck at a terminal all that time, but oh well. First 34 I've had to take in forever, but I've been run pretty hard since coming off home time.
Around 2800 miles this week. A high for me.
And I even had 2 truck break-downs in the past couple days. Clogged fuel filters caused several hours of delay, then the next morning my oil filter was loose and was leaking oil all over the ground.
