+1 is a joke in my opinion. Basicly what it does is use every second of our 70 to keep us rolling, no concideration for meal breaks, pee, or just get some blood in yer legs after 400mi of non stop driving.
They say its to keep us rolling and make more $, but I disagree. Its a slave process to keep us moving and get no rest. I mean after I go off duty, I've got 10hrs to eat, shower, do laundry and plan out my next day. Well in my experience, that leaves me 6hrs(on a good day) to sleep, wake up and drive another 10hr shift and park.
Refusing loads or ignoring them count against yer turn down ratio, dm's will deny or say I don't know cause they don't want us to know the facts. The more they run us, the better their pods, group, whatever look thus them getting the all mighty bonuses.

I've asked for 34's after running 4 weeks nonstop, with 12hrs left on my 70 and was sick and was refused. Then sent pp's sucking up my last 12hrs to the minute. So I just refused loads till they stopped coming and did a forced 34. Sucks, but we have to find a system that works a lot better and show us larger windows on p/u del times. Why waste my time dm time csr time when I send in a msg asking what the lastest I can get to a shipper is, then wait 30mins for a reply just to get a reply "get there asap and mac 22' really? I used to hate mac 22's as I thought I was a poor planner on my loads, pffft now I do them almost every week to cover my rearend.

    +1 more like -10

Super steel here in Michigan is tight guys... wow

I showed up @ my apt time and told to back in. Well its a 2 lane road, trucks parked on both sides of the street with cars flying by.
So im told to go into the 2 doc building off the street, uhh I tried, flatbed parked in front hosed us all. Then 3 drivers jump out of their truck aand proceed to tell me no f'n way im next, get in line. So rather than getting into a fight with locals, I pull forward and get in next, bsimpler this way..

I must say you think a truck stop @ 8pm is tight to back into, ha.. come here and im sure the truck stop will seem like a wide open field. Dot poles, trucks, cars wizzing by, truckers pist off.. my morning started out fun.. lol
what amazed me, I pushed her right in first try, one pull up. Got a few kudos from other drivers telling me they thought a swift would be here all day trying to get in..
    Some mornings just suck..

Out of hours by the time my HD was unloaded in Virginia Beach last night but they offered to let me stay overnight before I asked.

Picked up in Suffolk, VA headed for Amsterdam, NY by 4:15am. Dispatch was 537 miles but QC gps is closer to 670 incl mt so Mac22, stopped for 10 so I don't hit 0 hour in north Jersey.

This is same load Blue and I ran when I was being mentored except we ran it team.

Sorry to hear about Gold Miner. My experience solo is night and day compared to the Houston DM bs.

Was finally sent a pplan. pu in Cinci, Ohio, 1200 on Friday, and del to Boise b4 1500 on the 11th. Doable, yes, but a very hard push. Talked to DM, first question, was I a team. They stated that someone messed up. Nothing in the comments section about a t-call. I would like the load, and I think think that I could, but DM, says no go for now. Good old plus one, the computer says can do, for a L/O, but routing and winter, who knows what might happen.

Newnan, GA. I-85 @ Pilot. Don't pick up next load until tomm afternoon. I'll enjoy the rest. The drive here from Texas was windy and heaviest rain I've seen in years. The raindrops looked like water balloons hitting the windshield. Be Safe

Fultonville, NY at TA, I90, x28. Really crappy little place enroute to another one, Laredo, with 38k of paper headed to Mexico.

Lake Havasu, AZ, at the Pilot.

    Swift pulled a fast one.

Got here yesterday at around 1330.
At around 1200 today I get a pplan that does not pick up until Monday at 2000.

So, they get around paying me several days of layover time because I am technically on a load.

    A tight one, too.
Just 47.5 hours to go over 1200 miles, with a live load.

Another Swift driver has the same run, but 2 hours earlier.
We came here from Salt Lake on like loads as well. I met him there just as I was loaded and he was pulling in.

Any other time they would send that pplan at 0600 the day it was picking up. At least, that is how it seems these days with Plus-1 scheduling.

And that was after resetting my PTA from 1230 yesterday to 0200 this morning. So I had to try and get some sleep and be up that early in case a plan came through.
Then at 0500 my PTA was reset again to 1200.

    This is total BS!
