Got out of Memphis, heading to little town in NC... Kinda tired of this heat... I wish they would give me a load up into Canada

 

Except for a few miles here and there, nost of California's road are such a mess once as bad as another to me. Beside, I hate 58 btween Buttonwillow and Bakersfield, too many lights for my taste.

In Jackson, GA. Unload tomorrow AM, not bites on MAC 30 yet.

 

Little America sure does like to take care of the truck drivers. Just like the Stage Stop in Boise, ID>

 

I'd heard that PeeLOT Inc bought the Stage Stop...

 

If they did, then that nice place will go to the dogs. Hopefully maybe only the fueling portion.

 

Can't say much for the coffee, though.

I like Pilot/Flying J coffee the best.
TA is second, Love's third.

All the others... bland, blah, weak.

But that Little America in Wy has some very good rotisserie chicken.

When the wife gets here and on the truck with me I am going to hope for aload accross WY with lots of time, and try and Stop at the Little America, and actually get a room for the night. If the showers are like they are, just imagine the rooms. This is the Deluxe King Room, $109/night

 

There's also a Little America in Cheyenne WY and Flagstaff AZ. The Sunday brunch buffet is to die for.

 

Cheyenne I have been by but can never find the entrance for trucks. Flagstaff been to. Can not say much for the snack bar in the one area. Kinda high priced for what you get. According to their web site, there are actuall 6 Little Americas. There is even one in Salt Lake. Was looking at the one for Flagstaff, thinking about summer time taking some home time there, until saw a small disclaimer at the bottom, all rooms no smoking and no pets. Not trucker friendly.
