Kenly, NC... At the Iowa80 but not in Iowa... I'm kinda tired of this heat wave... At least you can sleep after a day of driving in the snow!

I 15 South of SLC at the Flying J. day started out good then I made a rookie mistake. I topped off the tanks at ex 6 I 80 at the Pilot then weighed ..Over big time
with this 44,750 lb load...So after running and burning off some fuel I get to the UT coop and they were closed..lol. 632 miles left to PHX so it's going to be a short weekend for home time...

Haladay, TN. After I found out that I could pick this load up early, arrived at the shipper, and was told that it had been loaded now for 2 days. Wasted almost 6 hours waiting for CSR to let me know. I should have known when I saw that the assignment said preploaded, but I have been burned on them also. Now instead of getting home at lets say 10 am, it will be closer to 7. Thanks csr. the only good thing today, my mpg. Like A21CAV, 9.3.

...made a rookie mistake yesterday when I said I'd help a planner out on a load... He said he wasnt worried about the delivery time as much as the p/u time. I forgot to ask if the Cosighnee is open on weekends... But let him know the soonest I could deliver was 0900 today, Saturday. He said ok... Woke up to find message on qualcomm. Delivery changed apt changed to 04/02 in the early evening... 60 Hours after my original ETA... All this over. 400 mile load... Not even $100 take home pay...

Yup, still here in Rawlins WY.
The shop is closed on the weekend, so I'm looking at at least 2 more days here.

At least I have a nice room here at Days Inn.

And, I finally get to watch a NASCAR race tomorrow.

And I'm catching up on 'Game of Thrones'.
