My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all y'all for your kind words and thoughts.
San Antonio at the Central Freight/Swift Academy yard with a bunch of other Swift drivers. I'll have to talk to Virginia in the morning about getting a big coffee maker for the place. Headed for Laredo in the morning to unload my tires and probably shut down for a 34 reset. Talked to my favorite planner earlier and he claims he will have a long ranger back to the Northwest for me this weekend. We shall see.

Columbus... Was going to pick up a Tcall, been waiting for it to get here since last night. Been following the load via satalitte with the window guy... The driver decided he was going to take it to final, Thanks for letting us know.... 9 hours of waiting... Now time to hurry up and find a load...

Frank, I just got a load heading to Lorado... Delivers Monday morning... Tell yer people to tell my people about those loads up into the Great Pac Northwest... I call dibs on one.

Try to talk to Robert, the planner when you get there. Don't forget the trailer inspection line is wicked long on Mondays because its not open on Sundays.

Salado, TX at a Valero truck stop on I-35 north of Asstin. I had stopped here before: nice people and a great Mexican food restaurant. This time the (different) people were snotty and the food was awful.
Set a personal record for turn and burn in and out of Laredo today. Arrived 10:30, spent two and a half hours in the trailer inspection line, dropped my load of BF Goodrich/Michelin tires from Ft. Wayne, IN headed for Mexico, hooked my load of Cooper tires from Mexico headed for Franklin, IN near Indy in 4 hours. The fuel route is mostly the reverse of what I used heading south. The trailer inspection line was so slow I completed the 2 of an 8/2 split sleeper waiting in line. I wanted to go Northwest but got this pplan at 2:00am and accepted it half awake. I'm going to be cobbling enough hours from get backs every midnight for the next couple of days to keep running which will be interesting.

Got inspected on a Sunday afternoon when I was last down there.
TN heading to IN, then P/U and drop in AR on Sunday ... looking to head home to Sacramento by next Thrusday/Friday. -
Roland, OK. Gotta love this light load. When finished tonight, 9.3MPG. Hope that it stays this way all the way to PHX. Plan to drop this on Sunday afternoon, then a 34. Talked to my DM, and he also said that it would be a better way to handle it right now with only gaining 5 hours for two days str8. Will not be able to do much, plus need to put the truck back in KW again. Still have the DPF fault.

One word can make a big difference. Meant to say not open LATE on Sundays. Oops.
