Columbus, OH at the terminal.

Didn't drop my load until 0100 this morning, and we all know how empty the truck stops are at that time of day.

 

Made it to the Texas hill country... Quite the lightening show all last night and earlier this morning... Trying to make Albuquie, NM for a 34 then on to Kent to deliver at Sears...

 

Sitting in KC getting "no loads offered" ...

 

Still in PHX. Truck finally finished this morning. They had to replace a DPF injector. Told me that my power will now go back up to where it belongs. Now just waiting for a pp for the morning. Time to start to head home. Have a request for the 14th, but my DM knows that unless I specifically tell him, my HT requests are never written in stone. A couple of days late is fine. It just means that I will only be home a shorter time then planned, but then I look at it like this, by the time that I get home on either Monday or Tuesday, the truck payment is made, and I am seing a check, and when come back out on a Friday, will see enough miles before next cut-off. I have stopped going home on the weekend.

 

Fred is enjoying the sunshine this afternoon at a rest area in Orlando, FL waiting on a live unload for 7:30 AM tomorrow. I hope Orlando isn't one of those black holes folks get sucked into and never get a load to get out. This is his first time there.

 

Hubby is stuck in Arkansas. He might hit 1500 in miles this week. He has had little loads and lots of wait time. I think that they take advantage of him sometimes because he is too nice. Me? I am not as patient. Tonight on the menu.... hot dogs

 

Well I made to Bowling green to see the most beautiful lady and guess what she is a lesbian and brought her girlfriend along.. I don't have a probelm with anyone being gay except with the women I was hoping to marry some day!


@!#$@#!@ So instead of paying for one girl I had to pay for two ???? WTH I give up ! I just give up ! Well at least they both liked each other and enjoyed a free dinner. Just my luck !

I have had a thing for this girl for over 20 years. I guess I'm just gonna have to marry my truck ya know.

 

El Piso, TX. Did Mac 30 before arrived, and received 3 good offers. With home time coming up, had to call my DM and see which was one better, so heading to MS. Drop on Friday. Then wait for Memphis to find me a load home.

Fred was in and out of Orlando quick, fast, and in a hurry. He's somewhere just outside of Pensacola, FL tonight and headed for Dallas. Being so close to the beach is making him want to go just a little AWOL. I can't blame him for that.
