I love the phx terminal, but if ya get a snag here it can turn into an ordeal.
B service was done on time as promised yet my windshield has to go to KW, no glue here to fix it.. hm so im going to take it over my self when I get some time, not sitting here for 3 days waiting.
Got a 460mi 44456lb load going up to albuquerque, I declined it as id spend to much on fuel, IF I can get it scaalled. My T700 company truck used to have issues pulling them loads, sooo.
if nothing pops up on mac 30 by 0600 ill walk over to my dm and break out my crack head monkey and im willing to bet ill get something that's going faaaaar away from phx, lol
I did a good deed today as well.. I helped a new driver, well tought him, how to get his mty faster, showed him mac 22 and how to send in his macros in order to p/u an mty in the yard. Showed him how to plan his route on paper, maps etc.. poor kid had no clue. Common mentors do yer job..
Gave the poor stressed kid a pack of smokes and bought him a soda, too.
Im sure ill be getting a call or 30 from him, but im more than happy to see someone succeed than sit there and watch him fail.
Whelp time to mac 30, again, and wait for the roach_coach so I can get a california burro and clean my system out @ 0300, lol.
Good night from...

Folks have been scaling loads at whatever point they need, to get a valid scale ticket. Then they slide the tandems back to California legal, drop the trailer and give you a "good" scale ticket. Then you go into California and get an overwieght ticket on the tandems.
Petro Las Vegas ... squeak, did I pass you southbound on the 15 yesterday at Fillmore around 1500?scottied67 Thanks this. -
In Laredo but headed for Mira Loma in the morning with a load of instant coffee and a fresh 70. Yesterday I was bored so I ran three local runs, pick up here and drop at a forwarder off exit 8, repeat. I used a local truck day cab and will never, ever complain about anything on my truck again.
I had to sign off my truck and sign on the day cab to do it and it screwed me up on a great load, Pharr, TX to Sumner, WA, about 2700 miles. They forgot they couldn't sign me back on my truck until it came out of shop status and by this morning someone else had that load. I got my B-Service done, brand new Michelin drives and everything else on my list ignored but I did get bonus greasy handprints everywhere on my freshly washed truck.
Best of all, I'm headed west and no where near where the Memphis planners can get their NJ hooks in me for awhile.

scottied67 Thanks this. -
Laws or settings haven't changed, just swift phx policy now. They wont take a certified scaae ticked as the gospel now, some dude, aka lane nazi walks over and you scale in the yard, on a none-certified scale I might add.scottied67 Thanks this.

Scottied, that looks like the same spot Injun took her photo of her ####spreader with a Walmart wagon attached to it.

I don't get California. Everyone has to stop when entering the state including 4wheelers, tell em what yet hauling. Why? I entered this morning going North outta Reno on US395 and at 0100 they had someone there. I said "Kmart Merchindice" and she heard "peanuts" and waved me through... Currently in Salem, OR... Kinda was hoping to make it to Gee Cees up in WA ex57 but only averaged 51 mph for the day...

Here in Fontana. After dropped my trailer this morning, and no mt's, they had me run over to Whittier to snag an mt, then back to Pomona to get my loaded trailer, and they lost the paperwork, so had to wait to get it re-done. Good old plus-1 had me delivering it at 0945 in the morning up to Sparks, K-Mart, all of 12K, told them that it was not going to work. Was told that I have until midnight anyway. By the time that I pulled into here, had about 35 mins left.
Mystic, yes, it probably was. Got messed up on the load also, 4.5 hours to get loaded at extra stop. Shot my plans all to heck. Had enough hours to get to Beaver. -
#### I miss out west gonna get to Texas and then this truck will point west only, Today pulled a fast one they put the delivery times as usual right but way down at the bottom comments the put that the place will be closed until 6/1. so I cannot sit for two days on a 600 mile run was asking for a Tcall with no response numerous times,
Finally sent a message Love the Tcall now I'm gonna have to sit an idol for 24 hours. immediately they said oh you can deliver it right now. Why didn't they tell me this yesterday ????
Anyways in Fort Wayne IN heading towards Texas I better be -
I sure hope your truck can swim, because once you reach L.A. your only option is Hawaii.

Bugs ... agricultural inspection station. If you are carrying any kind of live plant they want to check it out. Same thing in Florida, you'll go through 2 eastbound on the 10 before you get to the 75.
That's why the nazis are in effect, to save your butt. Some of our brethern scale with the tandems wherever they need to be to get a "certified" scale ticket, then turn around and slide the tandems after the fact to get the tandems king pin legal for Califorina. But, then the scale ticket is no longer accurate and the load may actually be overwieght on the tandems. Load gets tcalled in in PHX, you pick it up and you get the screws for an illegal load when you hit the weigh station in CA.
I'll always run a tcall load over the terminal scale and if there isn't one I go out and rescale. I've taken more than one load back and had it taken off of me.inkeper, Rattlebunny and scottied67 Thank this.
