Still in Lost Wages but got a load that picks up at 9am in Mountain Pass, CA, a few miles south of the NV/CA line, going to Hondo, TX with enough time to stop in the Hive to get my ac fixed and go through San Antonio to pick up my mail.

Coming out of Worland will probably be a 7500 pound Crown Cork & Seal load of empty cans going to SLC. If it is and you've never been there you drop your empty as you pull in and pick up yur loaded in the back with the BOL in the bill box. You don't have to check in or out; easiest drop and hook there is.

Picked up a load in RI yesterday, t-called it here this evening.

First time I have ever been to Rhode Island.
I think Maine is the only state (besides Alaska) that I have yet to see.

Too funny.

After 1.5 hours off duty I get a pplan.
It is the same load they had me t-call.

It has a lot of time on it, which is probably the reason for the t-call.
840 miles to the first stop in Memphis, TN, and delivers 08/06 at 0900.

Well, I'll go in tomorrow morning and get a B-Service before I pick it up - since I'm just about due for one and it will use some of that extra time.

Finally outta Houston. Best that they could do, pu in Baytown, del in Searcy, AR, then shoot over to Memphis for a lld and then San Berndadina for Monday. It was at first a load that was going on the rail, then pulled it off the rail. Still has a del of 8/11 but I can drop on 8/6. Cancelled home time since we were supposed to be there on the 3rd, no later than the morning of the 4th for a large Chinese/American get together which Susan has been looking forward to for about 2 months now. First time in all the time that I have been here, not home on time, and this is only the second time that I needed to be home on requested date. All in all, because of this, lost a day, but I will make up for it comming out of CA. Snag me a shorty for Wed morning, and still end up with about 2900 miles.

 

My first stop is in Memphis, then on to Searcy, AR.

Small world.

 

At the Triple T truck stop in Tucson. Just before this exit a driver let me know on the cb that I had no trailer lights. Bailed off even though I didn't know this place was here and found the pigtail had come loose between Chandler where I fueled and here and got drug to oblivion. $17 for a replacement and something to do in the morning.
