OK,hello,Blsqueak,scottied67,mystic,Micabay,StevenH,rugerfan,and anybody else i missed coz you didnt post recently,lol...3.5 weeks off....near 18,000 miles(philippines and back)...broke up with my gf,found another tho!(maybe)...1 serious illness,horrible snafu with swift over my dot inspection....great food,good loving...broken heart....Haha..anything happen over here while I was gone?lol....glad to be back on the big road again..in fontana...waiting a load ....cleaned my baby up real good,stocked the pantry....and instead of spending money would like to make some now....

wow sorry to hear about the gf and the ilness. what happened with an inspection? i also am working on a new girl but she lives in phoenix and i just dont get down there at all so we'll see lol. Here in Shelbyville, IL, paper load to Denver. What a day yesterday. Got a pplan and by the time to the truck, removed. Then another one, live load in Columbus and take it, according to them, 50 miles to Lima. Last time that I drove up there, I think that it was more like 90, then drop and go to Fostoria for a heavy load to DE. Nah. Then got a pplan to pu in Grove City heading to Chino. Jumped on it, then a fiasco getting a mt. Go to limited, they are not releasing any, then to Jefferson City, grap a mt, then to Pitt Ohio. Then it all turned to crap. My del was set for the 5th, by late afternoon. Was told that I had a additional stop, not according to my load info, then found out that I could not take because all of the loads that come outta there, team runs. Miscummunication between new CSR and Pitt. Took the load off me then gave me a different one, also Chino, but t-call in St. Louis. Then had to wait for them to get permission to let me do this. What a pain in the butt. Sent a pplan, PU olney and go to PA for a Friday. Nah, know better than that. Now lets see what happens when del to Denver Friday morning. I see either a can load or Coors in my future. Have to also stop at Edwardsville and see if can grab some chains.

Sitting in Firebaugh CA, pulled up to the gate six hrs ago... They just put on my first pallet... O M G!!!

 

Sitting at home (Buckeye, AZ), truck is at the Phoenix yard. Snagged a nice 2135 mile load from Port Allen, LA to Pittsburg, CA.
When I first weighed it I was 35,000 on the drives, 31,xxx on the trailer. Problem was only 3 more holes forward on the trailer. So, before I went back to the shipper I slid the trailer 3 holes forward and my 5th wheel 2 slots forward. The results were 11860 steers, 33860 drives, and just under 32000 on the trailer. This was with only 44 gallons in the tanks. I've been buying fuel 50 gallons at a time except for just east of San Antonio where I bought 100. Leaving early tomorrow morning as the load delivers 7:00 Friday morning, 745 miles to go.
