When I leased my truck in May you couldn't swing a dead cat in the Phoenix yard without hitting a new KW. I personally think that there are much better team trucks available than a T660, the T700 KW for one.

 

Stay away from SaltLake terminal. Parking is very limited. But seems to be many loaded trailers in he yard too.

Houston, TX. Sent a pplan, live load at noon, after del at 0530, and take to Carthage, TX for 1630. Total Plus 1 load. 190 miles. Look at your atlas and see how you get from Houston to Carthage, lots of small towns and big towns to go through. Did MAC 30 and getting Mead paper out of Silsbee to Chicago for Monday. 1025 miles. I remember the last time that I was at Mead in Silsbee. Sat for 7 hours waiting for product. Think just wait until morning. I am willing to bet that they will send me one of those in a pplan b4 the night is over

 

I just rolled into Salt Lake this evening to T-call. Ate dinner, climbed back into the truck and did a mac 30 and snagged a 2051 mile load to York PA. This was one of 2 so ya might wanna mac 30 and see if the other is still there.

 

I've got sumthjng outta here... Heading to Costco in Sumner,wa. Then off to get my McLovin on with the wifey!

 

Still in Houston. Was getting some strange pplans. The planner in Lancaster calls me and while talking to him, he tells me that a Portland load just came accross his desk. Well, I tell him to give it to the truck next to me, another driver that I have with since yesterday. He was supposed to be home yesterday and he lives in Portland. The planner could not believe that I helped like that, never seen it before, so was told, the next gr8 load, it is mine. He did have a Baytown to Opelusa for today, but nothing outbound until Sunday. Told me better to just wait until late this afternoon when there will be some better comming in. He promised that he will take care of me, after giving up that load. That was my holiday gift to another.

A good chance that Laredo tomorrow but with a gr8 backup.
