Been there, done that, got the tshirt to prove it!

 

At the Fontana terminal. More trucks and people here than I have ever seen before. The "lot full" sign was out, but they let me in and I managed to find an actual parking spot.


I deliver tomorrow @ 1:00 pm, not the least bit optomistic about getting a load out of here.

 

I finally got out of SoCal, and on my way to San Antonio TX.

Yes!!!

Mira Loma was the same way. Trucks and drivers out the wazoo waiting for a load.

 

Sat in Phoenix for 24 hours ... turned down 6 loads going to SoCal ... on 89 in AZ on my way to SLC for a Wednesday AM delivery ... but SLC has freight, hope to get out of there and start making some money.

 

I woke up my Qualcom @ 5:30 this morning, did a Mac 30 and SUPRISE..SUPRISE, 2 load offerings. Both pick up at the IKEA DC in Wheeler Ridge tonight @ 11:30 pm. One going to Kent, WA (with a stop in Renton) and the other headed for Centennial, CO. I grabbed the CO load as I was just there last week and have no desire to run the full length of I-5 through OR.

 

Still at home. Talked to KW this evening and was told, the part for my truck has to be made. ETA, Monday before it is done. Glad that I am home.

 

Sure beats being in a run down terminal. At least you're comphy.

I'm at a Flying J somewhere in NM. A nice easy load with a bit of extra time on it, so I'm taking my time getting to San Antonio.

 

Goodnight outta my bed. delivering in Tracy ca, tomorrow then headed back to Colorado for Friday delivery weeee

 

got upgraded today. there's a 2-3 day waiting list for trucks here in fontana terminal. so i'm going in tomorrow to attend the e-log class

 

At the Loves in Cedar City, UT. Headed for the TA in west Denver (Wheat Ridge) tomorrow for my Friday delivery at IKEA.

Lesson learned at the IKEA DC last night:
Daytime pickup with a window...GOOD!
Nighttime pickup with an appointment....BAD!
