sitting at the ta t/s off i-77 ex 41 in virginia. only drove 451 miles in 10.5 hrs today due to the snow and icy conditions. left a little late this morning cause snow was coming down good and wanted to see if it stops. got here and thanks to the driver who help me blindside into my spot. one guy kinda parked crooked so it was a little tight to get in.

The weather is crummy all the way down to the 95 ... it drivable, but these #### johnny rebs are clueless about driving in the snow.

Rest stop in Fayetteville, drop in FL tomorrow .. then probably take a 34 and get my PM/BIT done.

STILL sitting in Sumner. Got one hit on Mac30 yesterday, Sumner to Pueblo....which I took. When they send me the PP it's for a planned t-call in Salt Lake. Like an idiot I turned it down because it wasn't what I took. In retrospect I should have just taken it and got my DM to fix it. Oh well, lesson learned.

    FREE AT LAST!!!

Got a PP with a note from the planner "this is the last load for the weekend". A Michael's 3-stopper with all 3 stops within 30 miles of each other in the northern San Francisco Bay Area. Picks up tomorrow, delivers early Tuesday morning.

The terminal in Martinsburg. Mac 30 this morning, and only 2 so I grabbed one of them. First was a t-called load here, 2 stops, 18K, 1st stop in Knoxville Monday morning and final in Choo Choo, TN as soon as can get there. The other one was a 40k load out of dupont that did not deliver until the 29th at 1700, all of 600 miles. Was not going to bite on that one. Plus it was Haz Mat and back up to MI. Think that I will head south and by the time that I get down there I hope that the freezing rain has stopped. Get South and stay down there.

Dropped and sitting at a TA on FL ... not planning on going anywhere. Only 8 hrs left for Sunday and Monday. It's 70* so I think I'll just sit here 'til Monday, get a reset, get a PM/BIT done on the truck, do some laundry and spend some time lavishing the internet with my wisdom.

Rio Linda, CA, on home time with my oldest younger daughter and my eldest older daughter.
My eldest older daughter turns 35 tomorrow. It's been a couple years since I've seen her, so I'm really thankful I was able to be here on her birthday like I had planned.
I'm also thankful (and a little surprised) that I was allowed to bt up here from Lathrop. But no one said a word about it except, have a good home time.
First time I've been at Lathrop. Nice place, nice people.

Had a great time today, and made them my 'famed' chicken fried rice for dinner. (well, Michelle is a veg, so she didn't have the chicken part)
I love having a real kitchen to cook in.

I had my PTA set for me by... someone. I have a full 3+ days here, and back Tuesday at 0800. I'm hoping the planners set that time because they have something lined up for me.
Also hoping that I get a load that delivers in this pay period, or I will not have a paycheck next week.

Nice place she has here in Rio Linda.
A couple dogs, a few chickens, a cat, a couple rats, some fish - a very nice husband and 2 adorable children.
First time I've been with her family, and I love them all.
My oldest younger daughter is now living with them, so now I split my home times 3 ways.

Really fun getting in here. I was barely able to get my bobtail into the drive without ending up in the ditch.

She does eat fish, however. So tomorrow night I am preparing a nice salmon dinner - her favorite, she tells me.

My only son, Robert, and his family were also able to get up here today. We, also, had not seen each other in the same amount of time.
    Its complicated.

All in all, a very nice day.
