Spokane, WA. Nice lite Target load. Gotta love the instructions, you can deliver early, but the store does not have to take you early. So try and plan around that. Swift says 1730 and the bills from Target say, 1900. Who is correct.
Anyone else been having issues trying to log onto Facebook the last few days. I keep getting messages, locked out, trying to log into another deivice. I have never set up security questions, so it tells me to go there to set some up, the only problem, need to get on the home page to do that, so if locked out, how to get to the home page. Can not even get logged into the Swift Owner Facebook page -
Sorry, I don't do Facebook kind of things.
Heck, I hardly even keep my phone with me. -
Ft. Bridger, WY....where it's snowing.
I was SUPPOSED to be back in Denver tonight, except some D U M B A S S planner decided AFTER I had been dipatched to pull my Costco load off of me because of excess deadhead miles. EXCUSE ME! I'm an O/O and made the decision to take the crappy load because it would have got me out of Grand Junction.
Shortly thereafter I'm looking at a Mac 30 and all 3 selections pick up near Little America, WY and deliver in Oakland on Friday. While I'm thinking about it I get a preplan....you guessed it, Little America to Oakland. The nice thing was the "no deliver appoint" notation, so I took it. Then I sent a message asking CSR to make an appointment for a DAYLIGHT deliver and that I WOULD NOT deliver in Oakland @ midnight. 20 minutes later I get a message with a 9:45 am delivery appointment. PERFECT!scottied67 Thanks this. -
p/u load in el paso tx at 14:00 today for a 19:00 delivery on 02/23 in salem or. accepted the load yesterday thinking i can average 60 mph. 1640 mile load. i use mapquest to see if the mileage is close to what swift says. it routing me thru i-10w to !-5 n. i put the address in the nav on qualcom and its taking me !-10w to i-8 up to indio on the 10 again then i-5n. doing all this while i'm being unloaded. get to t/s for my ten hr break and they sent me fuel route. el paso terminal- i-10w , i-25n, nm-6w, !-40w, us-491n, us-191, !-70w, us-6w, !-15n, i-84w, i-205s, and !-5s to salem,or. theres 3 other fuel stops on the way after el paso terminal. according to qualcom, i'll have 8000 in the box. don't think i'll avereage 60 mph now. what do you all think of this route?

very scenic route but definately not averaging 60mph there I try to avoid that route if I'm on time constraints

Definately a plus 1 load. If the routed miles are a lot more then the paid miles, I would be asking for them to adjust the paid miles. I am very surprised that with that route that they did not send you to Vegas outta PHX, and then up US 95 to Reno and cut over to I-5

Here in Bozeman/Belgrade, MT. There is just nothing up here. Even talked to my planner out of Lewiston, and was told, it is barren here. Normally from this area I would be heading down South for cans outta Crown Cork. One thing that I do like about being up here on 90 in MT, Town Pump T/S. The fridge is now again fully stocked with prepared meals of meatloaf and gravy with taters, salisbury steak and taters, lasagna and ghetti with meatballs, plus different styles salads and veggies. The meals, all of $4.99, and they are not that small.
For all of you in the bad weather, please stay safe. I have been listening to the weather from down there all day. Surprised that never saw a message from Edwardsville since I have heard that I-70 and the KC area is a mess, or from Memphis since hearing the Arkansas is going to be a real mess very soon.
