They sent me that pplan again this morning - 3 times - and kept asking for a 'valid reason'.
The first had the same reason.
The second I adjusted the pu time to 0600 on the 8th. No go.
My final turn down had the reason 'call me'.
So a DM in Fontana called me and I explained it to him. He agreed.
I told him if I could picki it up tomorrow moring at around 0600 I could do it. He called CSR and they OK'd it.
Good night from...

At the Petro in Wheeler Ridge, CA. Battled high winds nearly all the way from Phoenix. Not good with only 5,000 lbs in the box. On my way to Medford, OR.
Speaking of the box, I'm dragging a nearly new refer behind me. I transfered from the OTR fleet (with my DM in Lewiston) to the refer division based out of Phoenix. I loved how simple it was to hook to an MT, no waiting for a planner to tell me which trailer to take, no waiting for the yard dog to check my Qualcom to see if I can take the trailer. I simply went to the refer row, picked out the trailer I wanted, sent a message to my DM, and 2 minutes later I was dispatched.
I made the move hoping I would get home more often.scottied67 and inkeper Thank this. -

I think someone hit the wrong reply button.
I'm in MD heading for VA. It was really, really fun picking up this load at the docks in Philly.
Then I found out that I got a service failure for being 45 minutes late on my last load, even though I sent a mac22.
Loaded miles were 206, but actual turned out to be 265 due to the fuel route.
I don't know how they think we can plan our time correctly if the actual miles end up being 25% more.
My DM had already put in 2 appeals by the time I called him, but he doesn't think it will do any good. -
I picked up this Volvo with 27 miles on it last March 30th. This March 30th I had 143,211 0n the hub. Of those miles I got paid for 129,768.
143,211-129,768= 13,443 miles.
That's well over a months worth of service that I didn't get paid for.
Felonious theft of services is what I'd call it. Can you imagine the totals for 15-16 thousand drivers. -

Here in Burley, ID. Since picked up student, we have been from Helena, MT, to Portland, OR, where I found out that they do not teach dock backing at the academy, then on to SLC where we will drop in the morning, grab another on our way to Plainview, TX for Thursday afternoon. As of now, 3 days, already has 25 hours on the books. Will have the 50 by the weekend. Then when team, with my hours, I will have to take a 34 rolling restart. I will be over my 70 tomorrow. Ohh well, what fun.
