Well ... not my first deer hit. Second, I'm buying - not lease - my truck. Cosmetic damage only, repair cost less than deductible, not worth letting Swift know ... and literally the deer did run into me, bolted across the road and slammed in the side of my truck.

I had a 3-axle alignment done @ about 30K, truck has 124K at this time. I've NEVER rotated any of my tires.

been sitting in Tucson, AZ, dropped a load this morning and get live loaded at 1pm tomarrow then heading to Florida. Heading a hour early in hopes they will load me early but we will see. I got the other load out of Ontario, CA at lennox Ind which was a live load set for 17:00 on the quallcom and the DM said go early, I get there and they said they dont even start loading any trucks until 18:00, I finally got out of there at 19:30 or so and only had 8 hours of my 14 left so drove until 3am then woke up my mentor telling him im not going to push the last 120 miles and I went to sleep to let him finish it.

This is a case where calling the shipper would have been wise.

I picked up a load in N Las Vegas on Saturday which had an 1100 pickup time. DM told me to go as early as I wanted to. Shipper would not answer the phone so I waited til 0745 to leave the truck stop and got there @ 0800. Turned out the shipper was open 24/7 and the load was indeed ready. I was worried that the load might not be ready and didn't want to start my clock any sooner than necessary.

    At the terminal.
I got to my delivery, only to be told it was scheduled for Sunday at 1800. It had changed and someone forgot to tell someone.
So I had to backtrack 70 miles to t-call it, which adds another hour of drive time to pick up my next load tomorrow morning.
I wonder how it will look on the paycheck. This is one load I am going to watch out for.

Spent the day dropping the chains and chain hangers off, rotating the bedding and trying to find a coolant leak and air leak. I think the coolant leak is a failed pressure cap, but it might be the hose going to the reservoir. The air leak seems to be in the mess of hoses on the firewall underneath the reservoir. ( this is on a 2000 century). Now I have an ugly oil stain on my driveway that I need to clean up before the wife sees it.

So the new fun story, I drove 6 hours straight to pick up a load from black and decker in sc heading to Mac calla al and when I get there the freaking shippers went home and left my trailer at the dock, this was about 1am and the guard told me to come back at 6am after the shippers get on duty, I had to wake my mentor and tell him the news and that he would have to take over and pick it up so then I bobtailed to a loves 7 miles away since I already dropped the empty. We dropped the load and immediately got another t-calling to the terminal in Texas, mentor just took over for the last 72 miles since I ran out of time.
I am at least getting plenty of miles and experience
