Maybe. It's not very often worked that way for me. (although, it does work out that way, sometimes)
If I were to base my actions on experience, it would end up being 'every man for himself'.
(and that is a very scary prospect, considering... me)

As it is, I seem compelled to 'do the right thing'.
It seems the only way to be happy with who I am.

when i got back to work last wednesday, i was preplanned a miller load in irwindale going to rocksprings wy for a monday delivery. thought good, it was an easy run i can do to get back in swing of things. got taken off me do to pheonix not releasing me from leave of absence. well, i got the next 2 loads done and equalled to about 1200 miles. miller load was 890 miles. all things worked out good in the end for me :)

Sitting at the TA in Baltimore off ex. 57. Had a disappointing day today. Showed up at the customer on time to deliver, they had no idea about a delivery coming in today and nobody to offload me, so got to waste my entire day into tomorrow morning here in Baltimore on this huge 193 mile load.

got a call from a guy in lathrop terminal asking if i wanted a dedicated route that picks up at miller brewery in irwindale ca going to bay area and northern calif..he said i would return empty back to brewery and get paid load miles. said sure i try it. drove to lathrop to start the trip when i got a message it was voided. so went into dispatch and talked to the guy and said they had cancelled it for whatever resaon. he gave me a tcall load going to saugus ca. for a 9am delivery tomorrow. right now at flying j in frazier park ca having dinner. gonna stop in castaic,ca for my ten. not sure if there's parking near final. i know santa clarita valley doesn't allow tractor trailer parking on the streets.
