was cruising along this morning north of sacramento when a guy on a rice rocket passed me going at least 90 mph. he was splitting thru cars without slowing down. needledd to say, just before i hit sacramento, he and a stepvan were on the side of road. front part of his sheild and bumper were in the lanes. he didn't seem to be hurt. but was all dirty from laying bike down. hopefully he learned his lesson.

Delivered a Walmart load at 11am. Been sitting since in plainview Texas. Lots of loads offered from Amarillo going east but have home time in Mira Loma on Thursday. Finally accepted a load from Lubbock to perris but it's a live load Monday morning so I get to sit for a few days. Dl said he would try and get me some local work but nothing so far.

 

Here at the Pilot in Mt. Comfort, IN. Got to pu my first load board load today. Heading to Austin for Monday morning. All of 7k in the box. It is going to be sweet. Watching the weather, think that I might just run into some of that crap tomorrow in AR.

 

I am very well aware of that. If you noticed, I said that I was dealing with ECT in PHX.

got a load out of lodi ca that i picked up at 1500. delivers in salt lake ut on 08/12 at 1200. called dl to see if i can deliver it sunday or tcall at terminal. he said no delivery on sunday. said planners are gone and to call over the weekend. told him i have bad luck with the weekend crew.

 

was going to run and spend nite at sparks terminal(haven't been there yet) but its 170 miles and have 3.75 hrs left and don't think i can average 55 this time lol. so i'm gonna stay at flying j in lodi ca

 

I thought there was always a planner around for that stuff

 

Just South of Red Bluff, CA, at the TA on I-5.

Came off home time this morning to a pplan sticking me on Walmart dedicated out of Red Bluff.
Spent the better part of the day there with one 25 miler to Anderson, and then as my hours were getting thin a load to the Sparks, NV area.
And it seems the DC up there needs help as well, so I'll be spending some time in that area starting tomorrow.

I hope I can get back OTR soon. I've never really cared much for Walmart dedicated stuff.
