Qualcomm woke me last night with a pplan from Amarillo to Fontana. In the comments section it said 1person per truck inside plant "NO PASSANGERS". I called in to weekend staff and told them I have daughter with me. Told to make run anyway. Got to plant and surprise told she has to wait outside plant in the street in a remote industrial complex. Called in and told them no way I'm leaving her alone like that so now am back in Lubbock but lost my parking spot and in a dirt lot across from pilot. Do they not know who does and does not have a passangers?

 

guess not, I would of just had her sit in the sleeper and close the curtain, they dont have to know

im still at home, havent seen a text come through for a pre plan yet but at least im sitting at home waiting for a load.

 

stopped at sparks terminal to take 30 min break and a shower. got to stop in fernly nv for fuel then gonna head to wells nv for my 10.

Went out and checked on my truck and QC to make sure nothing messaged, I saw the QC had a 3g connection and I have never seen more than 1x, is this a new upgrade?
Its nice having my truck 500 feet from my front door, I walk and check on it a couple times a day and see if there are messages.

MD ... 0430 unload, the up to WV with a tcall, then to VA for a preload, then tcall in KS when I can get it there, Tuesday AM.

 

Why did you tell me that. I have not been inside yet. At least I have internet as far as my USB, but not going to bother watching HULU. Uses too much data, and 6GB is not that much

 

Sparks/McCarran, NV, near the Walmart DC at the truck stop there at x32.
Delivered a load of pallets up here at a drop yard then went to the Walmart dispatch window.
I look down at the load sheets and there is one for me.
First stop is down in Placerville delivering tomorrow after 1100, so I decided to spend the night here.

Still sitting at home, guess I get a 3rd day of hometime, I was only planning the 2. Will see if I get a load tomorrow or not, just glad this is the first time im sitting for a load in the comfort of my own home.

Spent a few hours fixing my laptop while being home with my faster internet, wiped it out and re-installed windows after backing up a crap ton of files, didnt realize I had so many files accumulated. I was having freezing and slowing issues, normally I wipe my computers every 6 months or so but it was behind being on the road
