this morning I found a message on the quallcom about taking a load home in a high theft area or dropping the trailer. Well I didnt do either, it just happens to be a Loves a few miles from where I live and where I decided to do my 10....so Swift can just suck it.

Anyway delivered my load, around noon they sent a preplan and when I stopped at a rest area I took a look and it was a crap 177 mile heavy load which was a live load at 0800 and had to be delivered by 1200 "heat sensitive" well i ignored it and continued driving so a few hours later they removed it then sent it again but with a "special planner message" telling me to commit, I wasnt going to accept this load. Its a service failure just waiting to happen rather the live load takes too long, bad traffic etc plus I would be going over some mountains with this heavy load....AND no window....

I declined it and said I was heading to the Lathrop shop which I didnt lie since I want to get some new AC filters and stuff. We will see if they send me something decent in the morning, I also hope tomorrow I hear from that company with a job offer, background check should clear tomorrow if not already.

Here at my fav terminal (yeah right) Decatur. Got a pplan already, bt to Forest Park to pu JCP load and up to Wauwatosa for Wed afternoon. Can not go there until morning since load is slated to be ready at 2100 and I am out of hours at 2000. Get to end the week with 2900 miles. Had a nice conversation with my DM today, and said that he sees that there have been some problems, and will start to watch my truck more.. Ummm, where have you been for the last couple of months. Before jump ship give him another 4-6 weeks. That is what he will be getting.

I slept in pretty late and got some much needed catch up sleep but wondered why I wasnt getting any loads, do my mac 34 and find the #### planners set my pta out to the 19th, why the hell do they do that when I set my pta last night for this morning? arrrgh so i set it once again and now waiting to see if I get a load. This week is horrible so far, I have 1274 miles so far, depending what happens I might just make the 2k mark if they give me a 800+ load that delivers by Wednesday.

Called the market manager who is doing the hiring for the company I did an interview for just to touch base and see if anything new, he said he is still waiting for some info to return then will make his phone call. I didnt think it would take so many days for a background check to clear, he told me up to 14 days but I figured less than a week.

squeek your the better man giving chance after chance for them to get better :)
almost every day lately I get more and more fed up, seems its something constantly.

Decline it wolf. Im trying to make my way to Phoenix with a note on my truck I might add. And friday the planners are sending me loads to south Carolina or Indiana. I sat declining loads for 2 hours. Im one more dumb load away from sending a message asking why the planners are called planners since they dont actually plan anything they should be called pitchers since they just pitch crap at a wall and hope it sticks

I accepted it, im tired of sitting here and I talked with a few drivers who have been sitting for a couple days. I normally get a load out of Reno quickly whenever I go there, im going to call my DL and ask if he can contact the planners to stack something on it, it has to be delivered by 13:28 so I will still have a few hours to drive as long as the live load and unload doesnt eat my 14 up, never did a sears so not sure how they are about it
