Lancaster already has almost 30 loads sitting on the yard. You are going to OKC...all from Baytown.

well this is irritating, got to willows to tcall my load to be told a tcall was not setup yet it was in my preplan, he messaged planners and now im sitting waiting to see what they do, they better not make me sit on a 600 mile load for 4 days, I only accepted the pre plan since the tcall was there.

Lincoln, AL. Was planning on at least Bessemer but a nice back up north of Atlanta, then backups in Atlanta, really chewed up my hours. Got the trucked pm'd and Mystic, this is for you. Did a oil analysis and they found severe lead, abnormal sodium and severe oxidation. . They told me to resample at about 5k miles, and change again at 25K. Also call cummins and see what they say. Do not know why the high lead. Have never added any additive. What do you think.

    Manteno, IL area, sort of.

That's where I'm headed to, and from and to and from and to... for the next couple days.
As are at least a dozen other drivers as we ferry new trailers from Wabash to the terminal (or Sears, as the case may be).
It seems everyone was stacked with 4 loads - that's a boatload of new trailers we are getting in.
I said a dozen, but that is about how many I saw in the hour or so I was there. On the way in and out I saw more Swifties on their way in or out.

The line to inspect the trailers was so long that I ran short on my 14 and had to shut down here at the Love's (I65 x230 in IN).
Mac22'd it, but there are no real appointment times for anything - except for the screwy Plus-1 timetables that change from pplan to load assignment.
And I'm so short on hours for the next couple days, I doubt I can make this delivery and make another 200 (total) mile round trip tomorrow - so I padded the Mac22 with a couple extra hours for sleep.

It's a nice way to muddle through these days of short hours.
Flexible hours, and since it is 95 miles each way it should be considered short-haul with some extra pay.

I just got the PTA update from my Mac22, along with a thanks for sending it.

High sodium and oxidation may indicate a coolant leak ... EGR cooler? Where to you keep your coolant reservoir at when cold? ... Should be half full.

Also you had some work done recently? Was any of it on the cooling system? It took 3 oil changes for my oil to flush out the coolant after the EGR cooler was replaced.

I had the EGR sensor replaced just recently. I have the coolant at 3/4. Below that the sensor kicks in and starts to beep at me. I do not think that I am loosing fluid. When I was I talked to KW and they said that it was normal with what I was loosing. Going to get another sample in two weeks and see what it says. In the meantime, call Cummins. Thanks
