49er Pilot off the 80 near Sacramento, #### place cost $12 to park unless you buy 75gals of fuel or spend $50 which I didnt do either but I wasnt sure where else to park, tomorrow night I will park at the Lathrop terminal since im making a local delivery Monday morning then stealing the MT for my gathering. Had dinner at the "silver skillet" here then got me a shower, they wanted a $10 deposit here as well to take a shower.

Only got 2 trailers gathered today, took me 9 hours to go back and forth to Oakland twice, traffic was horrible today, hell traffic seems to be bad the past 3 days for me. I hope tomorrow it goes a little smoother since im running out of hours. Got 6:39 on my 70 now, pick up 6:19 at midnight then tomorrow I only pick up 3:15, Monday night 11. I should be ok though since the local load goes to San Leandro then on to Mather airport.

Scottie I grabbed an mt today for my UPS gathering and it had nice LED lights on it, was a 500*** trailer if I remember correctly. Not doing macros for these loads so cant look at history.

dptrucker I have taken that 50 up into Pueblo, I hear you on that road. Its a gorgeous route but white knuckles all the way for me. I would of had to take it again if they didnt tcall my last load on me to do this mt project. I was almost tempted to take the 70 on into Denver and then down to Pueblo, they probably would of got peed off at me though for being out of route.

wolfy... i haven't taken that 50 route, but heard people on the forum and talked to a guy and both said its a road with steep drops with no guardrails. like i've said before, i have a fear of heights. i also asked permission to go around instead of just doing it. of course i told them i wouldn't take the load if not given lol.

pretripped the truck and had an airleak. sounded like it was coming from gladhands. also truck air suspension would come up. called onroad and they ok'd me to limp to albuqueque terminal(2.5 mile). found crack on red airline at gladhand, had to replace leveling valve, and replace rubber hose for drivers windsheild wiper fluid thingy. in and out of shop...less than 1.5 hrs. still can make it to denver. going to head for the terminal there to get couple permits that expiring. then see how far final is at to decide whether to spend the nite at terminal or at final. saw alot of antelope betwwen las vega nm and raton nm

only did 1 trailer today so far, might hold off doing another until tomorrow since my hours are running short and I want to make sure I have hours to get the load in Lathrop and get it delivered. Traffic is even worse today, some big event going on at the Oakland Colosseum and when I was leaving traffic was backed up to a crawl for over 15 miles at that point, then stop and go traffic around Vaccaville for several miles and then again around Sacramento traffic is a crawl. I think I will just head over to Lathrop and use my hours tomorrow when the traffic wont be quite as bad.

Anyone ever been to the SF Oakland truck stop on San Leandro St? Looking at Google Maps I dont see parking except some trucks on the side of the street. I know its only 2.1 miles from where I need to deliver tomorrow and im trying to find somewhere I can park along the way instead of waiting to take off in the morning in Lathrop. I dont remember seeing any rest areas on the route.
