Sparks. FINALLY got my truck lubed (Swift isn't the only one who employs crack smoking loosers).
Dropped at the KMart DC last night and of course they didn't have any MTs.
No PP yet and nothing I'm willing to do on Mac30. Reluctant to call Command without an MT.
Good night from...

Still here in Hammond, LA. They thought that they might have finally found the problem and got it fixed, something to do with ECM and codes. Coolant leak was a loose clamp. They are thoroughly checking out the truck this time. First time that I actually have been to a dealer that says that they want to make sure it is right and not place a band aid on it. Took it for a test drive, and when pulling in, the regen started again when it shouldn't. then check engine lite and no codes. Well, tackle the problem again in the morning. So much for a good pay week and getting home.

I got to the terminal a bit early so I could get my new CDL scanned, and to fill some fluid jugs, and to make sure I got an mt for my load.
I was given a trailer location right away, and after I unpacked I headed for the mt.
About half way there I get a message from my DM telling me that I needed to get to the DMV because the info on my temp license was incomplete.
It was missing the actual CDL #, and Phoenix would not accept the temp #.
So I divert to the DMV, and they refuse to give me the number. I was told I was to use the temp number until I got my CDL in the mail.
Phoenix still would not accept it.
I went back in and spoke to a couple different people. They told me that the actual # is not issued until the license is processed.
Then they checked the status and it had been processed yesterday, so they finally gave me the number after nearly an hour od BS.
That ended up making me late a few minutes for my pick up, but I had done a Mac22 when I got the mt. -
that sucks but at least you got it over with
sitting at the high dessert travel plaza in Adelanto, decided to try their qc burger or whatever its called restaurant. Burger was actually pretty good and was a little cheaper than the burger I had at Wendys I ended up trashing since it had a funny taste. The last couple times I have eaten wendys I was very disappointed and the flavor was horrible so I wont be eating there ever again. -
Hotel in Hammond. Truck finally done. A total computer nightmare. My total cost $126. Now have to decide if pay for a new laptop that received the so called NSA virus. Cost to fix is a little more than a new toshiba

The people in Inver Grove did a good job with my truck. No more shaking.
They replaced the steers and a leveling valve for the airbags, and a couple other things.
Now it is riding like new again.
Then I did a stupid thing.
While at the terminal I added a gallon of oil, filled the wiper fluid, put the bottles away - and forgot to replace the oil filler cap.
sigh!
My mind was on too many things that day... the CDL problem, having to leave my sisters car at the terminal, fill the fluids, and my 17 year old daughter that just ran away from her new home in Sacramento and went to Denver (That's a very long story).
Not to mention, I could barely breathe because of allergies to all the pine trees where I live now.
I found it the next morning during my pre-trip. Some oil on the ground, oil splattered all over the left side of the engine compartment, and no cap.
I lost 2 quarts of oil within around 150 miles.
I'm glad I didn't try to make any real distance that last night, or I might have fried an engine before I noticed.
Some foil and a couple pipe cleaners provided a good temporary fix until I can replace the cap.
Currently in Grand Island, NE at the Pilot after a 3 stop Best Buy load. -
How could the cost of cleaning a virus, even by replacing the drive and OS, be more than a new computer? -
Nice day ... Had a filling fall out while I was on the road ... Turns out I fractured the tooth, spent the day getting a root canal and a crown.

mira loma terminal. did deliver the bales of cotton this morning. then they had me drp that mt in cypress and deadhead to otay mesa to get another mt and take that to walmart down the street from mira loma terminal. also had a preplan to pick up a load there and tcall it at the montebello rail yard. when they finally dispatched me, found out it was a high value load and had less that 2 hrs by then to get it there. so i ran it over here to mira loma terminal and sent a mac 22 to deliver tomorrow morning. was not gooing to chance hitting any traffic or accidents and having to park on the street( which i can). haven't heard anything yet,

it doesnt cost money to clean a virus like moose said, you just need to wipe the drive and reinstall windows.
In Otay Mesa, im going to be moving some mt's from here to Walmart, DM is supposed to find me a load or deadhead me for an mt near Hanford since im going to take Saturday off for my daughters birthday party, its her first birthday so I want to be there.
Ton of drivers here waiting for tcall loads from Mexico, guess a computer problem happened at the border and now there are over 400 trucks waiting to cross someone was telling me and border doesnt reopen until morning I was told, sucks for those drivers who should of got their loads a few hours ago.
