yeah always log when you send macros, I got a log audit and they nailed me for being off duty sending in my lcall, got me for being off duty for fueling etc in a week and gave me a few points. Since then I will go off then come back on to do the macros, same with fuel I will go off duty while im waiting for everyone to finish their dang breaks at the pumps, get my fuel and put myself flagged on duty to send my mac11 then drive on out, havent had any audits since.

New Boston, MI.
I had a nice day.
I got a plan to Willard, OH - just to get there. I figured it was a reposition.
I get there and send a message asking 'what do I do?' Do I drop my mt, or simply send the e-call with it still attached to me.
I get 2 responses, telling me different things.
In the end it seems that I was to keep my mt.
Then I'm sent a plan that sent me back along the same route to the Swift terminal in New Boston, picking up a t-call load and delivering tomorrow morning.
I took it.
But, I have to ask... what were they thinking?
I was sent 150 miles to a location to simply be there, and then sent back 110 miles along the same route to pick up this load.
Head-scratch.
It seems that the left hand doesn't know what the right foot is doing. -
On D&H you have to be on duty from the time you check in until you hook to your new trailer and finish your e/l call ... exception would be if you puled the plug, left the truck to do something of a personal nature ... but as soon as you go on your easter egg hunt for a trailer you have to be back on duty.
It's why I prefer live loads to D&H ... live may eat your 14, but they use very little of your 70 .. and it's your 70 that makes you money.
RightCoast ... there are "tricks" to elogs, just like there are "trick" to paper logs. Find someone who has been around and have a chat.
As far as your SF, you had a tcall on the preplan. It's not uncommon to have the tcall fall off on dispatch. When this happens call your DM or any DM and send a OC freeform message asking have the tcall put back on. And do it before your roll to the PU.
You can even MAC 9 turning down a load after dispatch. Stating you can't deliver as dispatch and need the tcall.
You'll catch on. Swift is just like any company it has it's system and culture. The key is proactive communication.
Set up for my delivery in CO tomorrow ... going to see what Mac 30 has for me here in a bit.RightCoast Thanks this. -
Fernley, NV at the Pilot. Live unload tomorrow in McCarran (e of Sparks), a live load in Sparks then back south. Deliver the 2nd load in Prescott Valley, AZ Wed then DH to PHX for Thanksgiving with the family.

took a trailer to LA then decided I wanted to venture for that movie theater, called the number and was directed to the mall security who just told me to park at the end of the lot near macys, that lot was a good distance so I got some exercise going back and forth. I watched 2 movies, hunger games which ended at 21:41 and then thor which started at 21:45. Both movies were good but hunger games was not what I expected.

Made it to the consignee in Charlotte only to be told I was at the wrong warehouse and needed to go back across the city. Dropped my trailer and hooked up to the only empty here, an old MS trailer. Released the brakes to check for air leaks while I pre-trip'd it and found a fitting back in the tandems dumping air in large volume. Checked everything I could think of to make sure I wasn't missing anything then called OnRoad. Was waiting for the service truck to show up when security came over and kicked me off the property for being here too long.

You should read the books so much better then the movies, interresting ideas of our future, and the speration of the classes. Did you see the first movie or the 2nd Catching Fire which just came out?
