maybe I might look into some audio books, I have thought about language cd's too.

So I will share my really stupid rookie mistake today, when dropping a trailer at a new location the security kept bugging me and rushing me and stopped me before I unhooked my hoses and electrical, well I forgot to go back to unhooking those and I pulled away and hear "snap" and thought crap, got out and looked and it looked like everything just popped away and no issues, went and took a break for a couple hours waiting on traffic to be dead then went and hooked up to another trailer, looked and saw the connection to the tractor got damaged and the wires snapped out of the 7 hole pole, unhooked and bobtailed 10 miles to the pilot and got a new pole and spent 2 hours getting everything fixed since the hoses were all out of whack too, took off the spiral wrap which took some time, unhooked the springs that hold everything etc and then put everything back together like it should be normally, went back and connected to a trailer and all lights worked perfect so started to head down the 395 and saw my lights flickering with bumps so got turned around and stopped at the truck stop in Adelanto and found the other connection was worse, it had issues before and I would take care of it stretching the pins some but that wasnt enough anymore, got another pole and spent another 30min fixing that one too, now everything is good as new but I didnt have the hours to take the trailer anymore.

Now I have to decide to turn in those reciepts and take the chance of getting in trouble or eat the cost personally, I told my DM a couple weeks about the one pole being messed up and he said just to get it replaced so I guess I can turn in at least one receipt but turning in 2 then they might see I screwed up....

I sure as heck wont be doing that again but at least it was something I was able to fix and I didnt damage something more expensive like the wire itself since I saw the whole electrical kit was $90 at the pilot and good thing I didnt damage any of the air lines, i made sure there were no leaks

Wolfy it has happened to most of us. Turn the receipts in, you shouldn't get in any trouble. By the way, if you get something for the truck that is under $20.00 you don't need a P.O.

No, it isn't Betty Paige, but another '50's Pin Up. But even on the small screen you get the avatar. I know Steve's plane is harder to get A: What is it? and B: Why a plane?

I love our Nooks (tablets) and have hundreads of books movies etc... I can't get enough I read voraciously, always have...

Last 5 minutes of my 34. Pickup is 10 miles away in an hour.

I read all three Hunger Games books after seeing the first movie. Yes, they're written for young adults, but they are very well written.

I'm hoping to get out to see the second movie in the next week or so.

At home. Got home a day early because I was on a broker load that was a week late, had the broker call final and got my delivery appointment moved up by nearly 24 hours.

My wife mentioned my avatar. I'll buy the first Swifty (who gets it right) a case of their favorite beverage if they can tell me three things about the avatar:

    1) The identity of the 2 airliners involved, type and airline.

    2) Where were the 2 aircraft at when the picture was taken? No, it's NOT photo shopped and saying "in the air" doesn't count.

    3) Why is the photo significant to me? If you NAIL the first 2 questions I'll cut you some slack otherwise you have to know EXACTLY why it's important.

lol im not even going to try

ran a trailer to Anaheim then was sent to Hanford for a mt going to Ontario, I was able to make the round trip and shut down in Fontana with 8 min left on the clock

Dont think im going to get much more into Ontario lot, sucker is packed full, another driver came in from another company and we helped each other back since it was a tight blind back with no extra space to move around, I couldnt even get close to setup correctly since some idiot swift dropped a trailer right in front of some other trailers next to the open spot

I'm pretty sure he is right about where, I have seen the pictures before, and I know he is right about the airlines and type of aircraft, but he failed to mention that you were an air traffic controller before coming to trucking! CHA CHING!
