Plant: Had you guessed or known that I'm a retired air traffic controller I would have declared you the winner. Since you didn't even venture a guess I'm goin to hold you to the original question of why is this particular photo important to me.
Inkeper: Had you KNOWN the above information (admit it, you're making a SWAG) your answer to the last question would have been good enough. Same requirement for #3, why is this particular photo important to me?

A google image search notes this is an optical illusion, the two planes had a safe distance. Telephoto lens made them look much much closer...

Oakdale, WI doing a reset over the holiday. I love Wisconsin for nothing more than the abundance of smoked meats and cheese conveniently packaged together for my enjoyment. Headed into MN on Friday.

The first 2 questions were NAILED, 3rd question was optional, thanks for the drinks! Let me know when you're in the triangle buddy!

Edit: Been able to find most of the information through Portal and some other sources.
Have any of you L/Os posted a breakdown of costs for leasing? Been browsing around and can't seem to find them other than a random number here and there. Could have sworn I saw it before but not now. Any help locating it would be great. Thanks.Last edited: Nov 27, 2013

Wilcox, AZ. Waited all day yesterday for a pplan and just like I predicted, end of the day, the crap starts to show up, up all day and want to pu at 2000 and del at 0500, then a t-call load that has been sitting at the terminal for 2 days and was supposed to del on the 24th and finally something decent. On my way to Laredo, where I here is lots of freight. We will see since my DM is off on Friday.
Well today he went to bat for me and shook the money tree. The Svc mgr tried to throw me under the bus regarding my truck, and after some discussions, I am getting reimbursed for hotel for 3 nights, 3 days of breakdown and 3 days of per diem for meals. Nice.Rugerfan and scottied67 Thank this. -
I think a lot of the L/O don't post the actual finances for personal reasons maybe they might give you specifics in a PM. I don't know exactly how much Steve makes although I could go on and find out online but that is a pain in the rear. Just like I could stalk him and see if he is where he says he is but also to much much work.
I can only say what I get per month this is money he gives me for the house, and it varies this job is fluid. He eats out and has his own money to spend on whatever he wants, but he puts away his .20 in maint and makes his payments on time. We take tons of vacations, and if I want more $ he gives me more, like with Xmas comming up I need more then my "allowance".
I get thousands per month. We are trying something novel though if he gives me x per week no matter what, if we'd be able to save more over time, instead of giving me whatever is left over, or what I need then paying off this or that with the extra. He didn't make this month being a company driver and there are many benefits to having more control (tax write offs alone was astonishing). It can get you, if you don't watch every penny.RightCoast Thanks this. -
Reread my original post. I said if you NAILED the first 2 I'd cut you some slack on the third, never said you'd get a bye. Yes you nailed the first 2 but took a bye on the third which makes you DNQ. My football, my rules.

Thanks. Yeah, I wouldn't want anybody to put their personal information out there or specifics of what exactly they are making. Looking more towards truck payment, costs of various insurances, etc. I would like to keep track of things over the next couple months and get an idea of what I would be making vs fixed expenses and fuel cost. Does the price at the pump represent what Swift is paying? IE once I swipe my card does the price then come down from what the posted price is at the pump or is it figured in elsewhere?
