RC, good luck with your new position. Stop by this thread now and again to keep us posted regarding how you are doing.
I just finished my first night shift team driving. Ran it from Gallup, NM to Pratt, KS and finished with 5 minutes left on my drive time. My partner just let me know that with the new 34 hour reset rules this TJ Maxx run doesn't allow us to get home every week like my DM said. Instead we have to take a 34 reset in Las Vegas each week. As long as we keep cranking out at least 5000 miles a week I have no problem with that.
Good night from...

The "glass" filter is supposed to serviced @ 100, 000 miles or if it fills up (which ever happens first). Cannot see Swift servicing it ever B service. Something is wrong if you have to service it much more often that every 100K. My truck has 199K on it and I just had it serviced for the 2nd time. However I realize that Swift doesn't service my truck which a lot to do with it.

I have never had to do a trailer washout, guess I was lucky. How do the trailer wash's work, does someone do it for you or do you have to get up in there and clean it out?
Last night was a long night, got back to the dc about 3:30am, got home around 4:45am and now taking today and tomorrow off -
wolfy...take trailer to a truck wash and they powerwash it out for you. usually cost 25.00 dollars. at least the last one did. haybales make a big mess and really smells the trailer. !'ll sweep it out as best as i can at the final.

As far as trailer washout, with hay, you will need to. We actually have a account in Denver for trailer washouts when going for can loads from Coors.dptrucker Thanks this. -
