I have not had a tv in the truck for over 10 years, ever since I got hulu. Still think about getting one just can not justify it. Heck even when home I will not watch abc, cbs or NBC, even though a couple if my shows are one there

160 miles to go for my 0900 delivery tomorrow.

I got a pplan this afternoon.
PU at the Manteno terminal, about an hour from my delivery, and deliver 100 miles away by 1015 tomorrow.
Well, I don't deliver my current load until 0900 and my PTA is set for 1000.
So I sent that I would pu at 1100 and deliver at 1330.
No go, it was removed.

 

Another one of my favorite places. Dukes Travel Plaza in Canton, TX. Looks like barbecue tonight, good old Texas barbecue. All of 750 miles to go by 1500 on Tuesday. Lovely weather all day and a little of a tailwind.

So fyi....the qc said im 2.9 miles away from a wally world....im at the kenly n.c petro...drop the trailer and bobtail to the adress...no wally world...just a used car lot.....lol......lettn u guys no in case you do the same if ur here....ended up at a food lion and got raped at the cash register. ..lol

 

Not a fan of Dukes or Texas Best. Favorite is KDs in Midland, but they were closed today when I went by ... Saw an ugly blue T660 east bound on I20 today.

 

I've tried the QC GPS a couple times.
Garbage.
I'll stick with my RM520.

 

My cobra didnt show it..but the qc did....shoulda stuck with the gps...

Not to hijack the thread ....but..do you L/O s use ...atbs???? Im not too happy with what im getting outta them.was wondering if you guys were happy with em.

 

Fired 'em after 90 days, got nothing of value from them. I do all my own tracking and analysis. Takes about 5 hours to do my taxes myself.

 

yeah I cant justify getting a new tv when i do not even use my current one, when cleaning last night I realized I have not even used the tv in this truck at all since the cable was still ziptied all up and I have had this truck for over a month now. As for tv shows I download mine, only local channel shows I watch are revolution and sleepy hollow, all the other shows are on cable channels I cant get without satellite anyway. Also since everything went to HD I have trouble getting some channels to play right half the time depending where im parked, the channels kinda skip and freeze up.

Stopped at the J in Bakersfield and got my needed shower and ate at dennys, some pickup is parked in my favorite spot pfft.
Today took a load to Grenada Hills and then to a store in Pasadena I never been to before, that place was a pain, you have to turn in from the 2nd lane over and still come very close to hitting a wall then go up a ramp since the docks are on a 2nd story and then turn right to drop the trailer and then you have to back the trailer around a corner and cars while dodging a wall, it wasnt extremely difficult just a pain in the arse and then to leave you must exit the 1 way entrance because the exit wasnt designed for a truck to make the turn so if a car is trying to come in while your trying to go out..... only way is if the car decides to back out of the way.

I told the planner I have some sorry looking drives that need replaced so he helped me out and has me taking a load to the Lathrop Target tonight then heading over to the terminal for some tires. These tires are in horrible shape with chunks missing from the tread etc and one of them the indicator thread is sticking out now, they better not give me flak or I will throw safety at them. Last truck I had to battle for tires took 3 terminals since 2 of them the mechanics claimed they were fine, 3rd terminal the mechanic asked me why the hell I waited so long to get in the shop....got to love those swift mechanics.
