none of the terminals seem to "have time" I was told terminals are being bombarded with central trucks etc these days so it makes it worse.

Got my physical done and good for 2 years, drove 20 miles to the dmv to realize they close for presidents day, I need a government job! They seem to get off every stupid holiday and get paid for it.

What was bad, they have 4 bays and at the time, only had 2 trucks in them. All that it would have taken, hook up the computer and check. Might have taken 10 mins.

    Check out the Central forum.
They have had it a lot worse than us.

Their transition has been a farce, to say the least. They can't get answers to the most basic questions unless we Swift drivers provide them.

There seems to be no help on their end, because too many people on their end are on the way out. And they don't seem to be informed of any of the correct phone numbers to get to the right people.

It is a whole company working completely in the dark, because Swift dropped the ball.

8.6?! The only time my T660 sees that high is when I'm under 20k and running 57mph. I'm wondering how much will change with an ECM reset, still need to visit Cummins for a checkup.

Looks like another fun night at the OKC Corral for me.

The other day, 15k, Memphis to Ocala, 8.9. Before the EGR was replaced and now the ECM, I was seeing, when lucky, 7.3 and at times 6.2.

That's probably what I miss most about the military: I got paid to sit around and drink beer on Martin Luther king jr. Day.

I'm shut down for the night in a rest area off I-81 in VA just past the tennesee border. Heading to Mount Crawford, VA in the morn then off to Richmond for a B-service and to pick up my co-driver.

Completely agree with you!! It has been a FUBAR merger IMHO!

Here is another question... What is an 'E' call and a 'T' call? It popped up on the QC "dispatch has already E or T called load"... See basic info you guys get during training... We have no clue! We asked for printed material for reference/information ... Told there was none. Sigh...

if it said e-call or t-call already been done then there is an issue with it and you need to call to get them to fix it, it happens once in awhile for me, sometimes if the loaded call has already been done in the system it can kick that at you but other reasons might be the issue as well, I just usually call and get it fixed on their end.
That sucks they didnt prepare you guys, were you guys on paper logs before swifts hostile takeover?

My load wasnt ready until 20:30 so it was a late night, no Yussens down in Long Beach so headed right back and just shut down a little before 3am, I was relieved and also a bit bummed there was no yussen since that makes it only a little over $100 day with the single load but he was planning me late and light because I had to go get all the physical stuff done. Tomorrow got a load to Merced and Porterville, the Merced is scheduled first but the planner called me a little bit ago and said the Porterville load is ready like 15 hours early so I can start early and get that one delivered then get the Merced one delivered early and get home at a decent time. Most of the time when heading to off time I dont get home until 3-4am so wife and kids are in bed.
