Good Radio Shops

how can you reach them when you are just rollin down the road?

 

Now I went to that shop at the ta and there is nothing wrong with that guy. Now the two shops in wytheville va one at the ta and the other at the flying j own by the same persons that have been x truckers as techs they are a rip off .they don't know a thing period

 

Well ,The anna cb shop don't have to advertise so you have to stop to get it fix .THEY ARE EXCELLENT people to go get your radio fix .They don't rip you off .Not only cb they work on ,But even music boxes. I think that they are own from 8 TO 8 every day monday to friday. GOOD CB REPAIRMAN. MOVING ON ELECTRONICS INC .OF ANNA ,OHIO.SATURDAY 8 TO 5. No ,I don't work for them ,but I have had work done on my radios and they didn't hurt my wallet . An never had any problems with their work .They knew what was wrong and fix it. The same problem that I had that the ( x-truckers turn cb techs ) in wytheville that smoke the radio 4-5 times on his counter and said I can't fix it and it was a meter to be put in ,Moving on had it fix in 15 minutes.

 

West Memphis CB shop? I bought a Cobra 29 Chrome from this guy and he peaked and tuned, installed Mosfit finals, Echo Board. ect. Put alot of good money in this radio. My problem is my SWR is way to high. I have tried everything from , replacing the coax, new Ant, New mounts. Everything I have tried has failed so Im wondering if this CB shop just did some hack job on the radio and the real issue is on the inside?? Any suggestions? I have so much cash into this radio Im trying not to have to go to another CB shop. So your help would be greatly appreciated..

 

Put a low pass filter on the radio then measure the swr with the filter between the radio and the meter. If it goes down your radio is generating junk.

 

If your using the internal SWR meter built into the radio then thats your problem.Those things are never right!

If you dont have a good SWR meter then you dont have any choice but to go to a cb shop.

 

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! He is a ripoff paid lot back of pilot, tweak n peak, changed a resistor to a diode cut limiter and charged me $55 you have been warned he is good at BS that's all!

 

I agree with Stryker summit radio isn't very good at radio repair chuck is another chop shop chasing the dollar

 

Rolling Radios Richmond, VA is now the only one who will work on my exports and amps......for Ham stuff I just buy new from Ham Radio Outlet via their website..

 

If you travel exactly 163 miles east on I-40 take the 163 exit at the top of the ramp look over to the right you will see the 163CB Shop with a flashing blue light on their roof.
That shop that ripped you keeps this shop in business.Open 24/7/365 with outside installs and SWR checks.
