ABF is only hiring dock workers as trainees. Atleast on Indeed. I will still reach out though and see what I can find out.

Your amazing man, thank you. Keep it coming, I'll be here all night!!!

IN almost every area that is NOT out in B.F.E. there are food service and beverage delivery (soft drink and beer). It's more physical work so older and experienced drivers often avoid them. This means those companies are perpetually hiring. Those jobs are home daily so only consider the ones far from you if you want to live near them. McLane, Sysco, Performance Food Group, plus the beverage companies & distributers. I don't know if the beverage/distributers accept felons or not. Also, dump truck is one of the jobs that is almost everywhere. Dump truck would probably have been on Craigslist. Also, "garbage truck" or whatever the modern term is usually available everywhere. There will be some driving job that hires felons.

I suspect a trainee dock worker with a CDL won't be stuck on the dock for long. The LTL companies are usually short of both dock and drivers, but with a CDL you may only have to work a brief time on the dock.

    Chris6785 Thanks this.

ALOT of places want either current CDL, which I'm still in school as we speak, or 0-6 months, or sometimes 0-3 which means they won't train.

I'll always look into EVERY suggestion though!!! Thank you for your response and thank you.

He's been finding trucking companies for forum users so long his list of companies is more complete than the DOT's list. His notebook is probably thicker than an NYC phonebook, if anyone remembers those.

I drive through Portland every week. Pretty sure there was an electronic billboard with Sysco advertising this week on the 205. Said $25000 sign on bonus too.
