I've taled to a few folks...
i've come to the conclusion that the only real thing you gain is lots of risk...
the chance to make a few exta $$ does not seem match up with the risk level...
and that explains why so many places try to get the drivee to lease....
They get a near guaranteed income stream, and no risk...
You, the driver take the risk on, often loose benifits, and IF everything goes right (when does this happen in trucking), you might make an extra buck IF you are good at managing a buissiness....but how many folls with that kind of talent, experance, and education can out do an entire company? Imo not often...
so imo unless you own a truck, or lease it from a 3rd party, don't lease. It is like a timeshare....great for everybody but the owner...you love it at first...but then reality sets in....
Good things about a lease!!!!
