@DoubleO7, there are people on here who made it work at Swift. Put in your time and move on. The best advice I've learned with these mega companies is that the money is in dedicated accounts. I don't mean Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc.

This forum is a great resource and if you take the time to read up on past threads you'll do really well in this business.

That is who I was hoping to hear from. Maybe they are too embarrassed to post.

Ok. Good thing about Swift. It's not as bad as Auschwitz.

I can just imagine safety contacting me after a few days on my own and wanting to know why I am driving with a mask.

Ya know, I've been thinking. I had about a year and a half OTR. 13 months with Schneider and the rest with Maverick. That was 11 years ago. Swift says the first day they will give me a road test and the orientation is only 3 days. Then I will do 200 hours OTR with a trainer. I hope I can pick it right back up, especially shifting. Is it like riding a bicycle, you never forget? Or should I be worried???

well spent last week with a mentor was suppose to drive the first 50 hours solo but got 9 hours in six days? watch out the mentors get away with doing things their way and nothing is said! and don't make a left turn at 20 mph or you will get a violation from safety on camera? its always on that's how it gets before, during and after video of events!!!!!!

    TruckDuo and DoubleO7 Thank this.

Yeah, common sense tells a guy it is always on, otherwise they could not get the 15 seconds prior to a critical event. Sometimes I have to scratch my beanbag while I am driving, they will see me do it.
