If one of them got elected prez we expect a boost of almost 300 a month to our payments across the board. Sadly that would be only catching up to what costs of living that has been lost these last 15 to 25 years. Or dating all the way back to the early 70's Now those were the days. Combined with the expected cola until retirement would be quite something around the time of SSA's complete exhausting of the trust fund about 2034. Give or take 5 years.

like most careers. Once you are in it for ten years or more others don’t think you can adapt anymore and they want younger and cheaper anyways

By all means, if You can do better in another Industry, no time like the present to make a change. Don’t know what part of Michigan you live, but there’s plenty of Opportunities available. A Child in the hospital, being gone, is a terrible spot to be in. I know.It can’t be minimized, no matter how hard you try.I wish You the best. Not many succeed with Pam, as far as Industries go, all are cut throat anymore. No Loyalty, to Employees. It’s a two way road. Look out for you and your family first. There are much better Trucking Companies than Pam, I’m sure You can find a decent one, if You decide Trucking offers the best option for making a living. Hard to beat, as far as opportunity. Always a Job available, almost lay-off proof. Won’t get rich, but always a Job available.
