Goodbye Merle Haggard

Sure hate to lose him, great singer with great songs.

 

One of the greatest singers in classic and only good country there is.Shame we lost him.

 

Always had a lust for big trucks, and in the early 70's when he did the opening theme for the show Moving On, well it just fueled my fire..... R.I.P Merle.

 

Not many of the legends left now. Let's hope he's having a grand Ole time up there with Waylon n Johnny

Classic country is my favorite and have many Haggard cds.

 

When I get home from work every night I put on the classic country station on the tv. My 7 year old daughter hated it at first. Now she sings along to all the songs and asks about the singers. Rainbow Stew is her favorite. When I told her Merle had passed away she got very sad

 

I know the feeling I ride an old Harley Electraglide, my trunk has Merle, Johnny, Waylon, Buck Owens, and Blugerass CD's in it to name a few. They have been playing Merle songs for hours on Willies roadhouse.

 

Most of the great singer's are gone
