Again, what are your testing criteria? Is it broke down like the reviews on DieselBoss's website or just daily running? I would hope you would be safe in your driving since trying to compare Navigation devices while driving could be unsafe for the ones around you.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Kwantz, I really do not have to prove myself to you. I am here for the drivers that need help or have questions.

    Kwantz,

This is my last post to any of your posts. I try to be nice to you and you in turn treat others with no respect. You toss out names and slang terms that are demeaning to some. You have been on this site for a little over a month now and you are the expert in everything and anything.

I hope you have fun with your 100 mile WiFi circuit, since I am sure you do not carry a couple of hundred watt transmitter for the return packets for the internet signal. Handshaking is required for the internet to work and it is a two way street.

So, post what you please. You will not get a response from me.

Oh Lordy. Yup, he done made me throw out a Lordy again...

Kwantz (et al) - I debated as to which thread to even reply in because he was all over the place on some kind of mission during the last few weeks.

I am not going to go into the technical details of each GPS and where one stands up in a particular category over the other because I maintain a massive, well-publicized chart comparing the virtues and weaknesses of the 3 most-popular truck GPS brands. I will answer specific questions if you ask in a public thread, or a PM, or a phone call. And for Kwantz over the last few weeks, this were LOTS of them I assure you. (and my help was IN SPITE of the fact that he used me for information and purchased elsewhere.)

Suffice to say that I will NEVER say anything in a PM that I wouldn't just as quickly put into a public thread. Grandma said that you should never say something behind someone's back that you wouldn't say to their face.

As for personal attacks on Mark, aka cc194217, I have sat across the table from him eating enchiladas and sipping brews after watching him spend his every prior waking moment that day from dawn till dusk either on the phone or in person with the drivers to make sure that every question they had was answered - every concern addressed. I've seen him drive hundreds of miles round-trip to meet a driver out on the road. AND, that isn't even his job. His technical knowledge is very extensive, but it is his unwavering commitment as a former driver to be a voice within "the corporate machine" for those in this unique business of commercial trucking that makes him such and asset to the drivers and to Rand. Why? I don't know. Maybe 20 years in the Marine Corps, maybe being a long-hauler, maybe just part of how they raise folks in the south. But a "call center agent" - I assure you he is not.

    For what it's worth.

And now back to your regularly-scheduled programming...
