Google map update:::::SUCKS

Are you guys using iPhones? Because nothing has changed for me on Android

 

If you don't want apps to update on their own, which I don't...

Go to > Settings > Apps> Find the Play or Google Play app, disable it. I get all kinds of warnings about how things won't work but they do. Occasionally it will shake its finger at you but nothing bad will happen.

In general Google Maps has become less easy to use and with less content, they are trying to muscle people into paying for listings on it. HERE WeGo works pretty nicely and is better in rural places, but Google Maps traffic is better. On the computer I'm mostly using Bing Maps.

 

I have a Google Pixel 3 XL, and I get the latest version of each app as they happen.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I bring up a business, I click on the white card tab at the bottom, all their info appears.

It wouldn't make sense for an information company to not give you information on the businesses you are looking up.
