    Simple enough to add one. Just be sure to have a fuse in line if you attach straight to the battery. A friend of mine nearly lost her bike when the metal tip (fuse cap) of her GPS lighter cord came loose and welded itself across the contacts in the socket. Fortunately she carries a pocketknife and was able to cut the wire.

    My bike had unused wires for a city light that was switched with the key. Very convenient for my GPS.
