I left FL going on 10 years ago with a suspended license. In fact a couple months ago the Virginia DOT told me I still had an outstanding warrant in Pasco county for failure to appear.
Anyway, I never had a problem getting the CDL last year or an NC DL before that.
For the OP though, FIGHT THAT TICKET!
