I get PLENTY of sleep. Usually about 12 to 14 hours a day on the fuel island or somewhere else I can obnoxiously park and lay around...then I go on TTR and bash the company I work for about not paying me enough and ripping me off...just saying.

I was never able to sleep well days and I drove nights local for a year, #### near killed me and my health started to suffer greatly.
I only drove OTR a year and never got used to sleeping in the truck so I was always tired.
As Tex here said we're all different, some can sleep anywhere anytime while others (like me) really struggle with it.
It's a big reason it would take something really special to pry me out of my current gig working dayshift 5 days a week and home every night. -
You wouldn't be bragging or anything? Would you???
Bankers hours. Still a driver. Probably get paid well.
I take it back. You are bragging!!!
Oh well...I guess you paid your dues anyway.

Each one is different for sure...
I would NOT work office hrs and do local or regional...
even if I were offered 10 X more of what I am doing now...

To each their own, I have a nice home in the woods and like to spend as much time there as I can there.
